CUET 2022 Phase 2 Day 1 exam scheduled on August 4 was marred with technical glitches. 4th Aug Shift 1 exam is postponed for 29 cities to August 12 while Shift 2 exam is postponed for all candidates and will be held between August 12-14.
CUET 2022 Phase 2 exam started on August 4 in various cities across the country. However, NTA released a notice stating that CUET 4th Aug Shfit 1 Exam has been postponed in 29 cities across 17 states. CUET 4th Aug Shift 1 Exam will now be conducted again on August 12, 2022 . The complete list of these cities is given below. Moreover, CUET 4th Aug Shift 2 has completely been postponed for all test cities and it will now be conducted between August 12 to 14, 2022 . On the other hand, CUET 2022 scheduled on August 4, 5 and 6 in various exam centres of Kerala has been postponed due to the floods.
Due to various administrative and technical reasons, CUET 4th August Shift 1 Exam is postponed to August 12, 2022 at the following exam centres:

Students and parents argued with the exam centres on the sudden cancellation of the CUET 2022 Phase 2 exam on Day 1. Some students argued that they had travelled a long distance to reach the exam centre just to know the exam was cancelled. One of the students Priyanshu who was at an exam centre in Varanasi indicated that his exam scheduled on August 4 is now pushed to August 12 without any prior notice. The student further explained that he spent a high amount on travelling charges at the last minute which has gone wasted.
NTA is being criticized for irregularities in conducting the entrance exams this year. For instance, Phase 2 admit card of CUET 2022 was released 2 days before the exam which hampered the travelling plans of students. On the other hand, the link to change the exam centre for students whose exam is clashing with MHT CET and BITSAT is not yet activated.

CUET 4th August 2022 Shift 2 Exam Postponed
As stated early on, the second shift (3 PM to 6:45 PM) on August 04 has been postponed for all candidates. In this case, the official notice released by NTA reads, "Because of technical reasons, the question paper for the second shift of the examination could only be uploaded at 5 P.M. and the download at 489 centres could start at 5:25 P.M., while the exam was scheduled to begin from 3 P.M. Reports were asked from the observers/city coordinators on ground. Based on their recommendations, the second shift scheduled for 04 August 2022 (Shift 2) (from 03 PM to 06 PM) is cancelled and the same will now be conducted between 12 to 14 August 2022."
The notice further confirmed that the same admit card will remain valid for all those candidates whose examination has been postponed i.e., for candidates of both shift 1 and shift 2. In regards to the candidates for whom a date between August 12 to 14 is not suitable, NTA conveyed that these candidates shall mail the agency at datechange@nta.ac.in, mentioning their desired date and roll number.
