Common University Entrance Test (CUET)- UG 2023 day 3 slot 1 exam has ended. The university entrance test third day recorded 76 percent attendance, UGC chief M. Jagadesh Kumar said. The day 3 shift 1 of CUET-UG commenced at 8.30 am across 234 cities and 283 centers. This session accommodated a total of 20,503 candidates as per the scheduled plan. These candidates are taking the examination simultaneously across multiple locations, contributing to a significant cohort of test takers on this particular day and shift.
On the first day, the first shift, 87,879 candidates were scheduled to appear, while the second shift saw the participation of 87,903 students. The third shift, held across 458 centers, witnessed an impressive turnout of 89,466 students.

As per UGC guidelines, students were directed in their admit cards to enter examination centers in a staggered manner. Despite this, a few centers experienced delays due to some students arriving late, causing overcrowding. To avoid such situations in the future, necessary administrative measures have been put in place. Additionally, Professor M. Jagadesh Kumar, the UGC chairman, highlighted the provision of essential facilities such as water, refreshments, covered shelters, and designated waiting areas for both candidates and their parents or guardians.
