CUET UG 2022: Delhi University Tops in Number of Applicants

The second part of the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET-UG) 2022 is taking place from August 4, to August 20, and will be run by the National Testing Agency. This year, CUET UG is being held for the first time, and about 90 universities are taking part. Most CUET applications have been sent to Delhi University (DU). Nearly 6,63,776 applicants chose DU for admission, followed by Banaras Hindu University (BHU) with 4,34,140 applicants and Allahabad University with 2,62,488 CUET applicants.

Apart from that public universities, there are two leading private universities namely Galgotias University and IITM University have received more than lakh of applications. The first CUET is being run by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to help students get into 44 central universities, 12 state colleges, 11 deemed universities, and 19 private colleges. In the academic year 2022-23, admission to these universities will be based on how well a candidate did on the CUET.
