CUET UG 2024 Biology Syllabus: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has so far reduced the syllabus for NEET UG 2024 and JEE Main 2024 and hence, it is expected that the syllabus for CUET UG will be reduced as well. NTA has not yet made any official announcement regarding the reduction of the syllabus. Based on the topics deleted from NEET UG syllabus, an expected list of topics that may be scraped from CUET 2024 biology syllabus is detailed on this page in a unit-wise format. List of Topics Expected to be Deleted from CUET UG 2024 Biology Syllabus

For each unit, the topics and sub-topics that may be deleted from the syllabus are enlisted here:

Unit I: Reproduction

1. Reproduction in organisms
  • Reproduction, a characteristic feature of all organisms for the continuation of species
  • Modes of reproduction – Asexual and sexual
  • Asexual reproduction
  • Modes – Binary fission, sporulation, budding, gemmule, fragmentation
  • Vegetative propagation in plants
2. Sexual reproduction in flowering plants
  • No topic is expected to be deleted
3. Human Reproduction
  • No topic is expected to be deleted
4. Reproductive health
  • No topic is expected to be deleted

Unit II: Genetics and Evolution

1. Heredity and variation

2. Molecular Basis of Inheritance

3. Evolution
