CUET UG 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced several changes in this year’s CUET UG examination. As the agency gears up for the successful conduction of CUET UG exam this year, it is currently being reported that the exams having more than 1.5 lakh registrations will be conducted in offline mode. The decision has been taken to overcome the long time that takes to apply the ‘Normalisation’ process in the CUET UG results. However, the tests having less than this number will be conducted in the regular computer-based exam module.

The exams for a total of 27 domain-specific subjects are to be conducted in the upcoming CUET UG 2024 between May 15 to 31. As per the latest reports, NTA will be holding Pen and paper-based tests separately for the subjects having more than 150,000 applicants. This will reduce the extra time consumed while the ‘normalisation’ of the marks takes place post-results.
Another big change announced for this year’s CUET 2024 is that the agency is likely to conduct all tests in single shifts only to avoid the overburdening of equalisation of marks in different shifts. The number of subjects an applicant can opt for this year has been limited to six. Earlier, the students were allowed to pick as many as nine subjects for admission.
The CUET Advisory Committee which decides the annual entrance exam is expected to be held this week to finalise the CUET UG schedule 2024 along with the registration details. As per the recent reports, the online application form for CUET Registration 2024 is expected to start in the last week of February 2024 tentatively.
