CUET UG 2024 Subjects: NTA adds two new subjects, know who is eligible to apply

CUET UG 2024 Subjects: In the latest announcement, the National Testing Agency has confirmed that it has included two new subjects in CUET UG 2024. The online registration process for the CUET UG 2024 is underway, and the candidates who have already registered for the exam need not worry as they can opt for these two subjects at the time of form correction. The online form correction process of NTA CUET 2024 will begin after March 26 if the last date to register for the exam is not extended. Here are the important details regarding the two new subjects included by NTA in the CUET exam 2024.

List of New Subjects Included in CUET UG 2024

The following subjects are included in the CUET exam 2024 -

• Fashion Studies
• Tourism

Unlike other subjects like Biology/ Chemistry/ Physics/ Maths, candidates who completed their Class 12 in any stream are eligible to apply for these subjects. There is no stream restriction in Class 12 for these two subjects. Central universities and other participating institutes of CUET 2024 offering Fashion Technology and Tourism courses will enrol students based on the percentile scored in the respective subject. Candidates who are yet to register for CUET can opt for these subjects if interested. On the other hand, already registered candidates can wait for the form correction window.

CUET UG 2024 is scheduled to be conducted from May 15 to 31, and the NTA will soon confirm the subject-wise exam dates. Once the registration process is over, NTA will finalise the subject-wise exam dates based on the Lok Sabha elections schedule.
