- US H-1B visa registration closed, cap for FY 2024 reached:
The H-1B visa cap for the financial year 2024, starting October 1, has been reached and all successful applicants have been informed, said the US Citizenship and Immigration Services on Monday. The Federal agency stated that it has received enough online registrations in the initial days to reach the fiscal year 2024 H-1B cap including the Master’s cap.
- Pak-origin Humza Yousaf elected as Scotland’s youngest first minister:
Pakistani-origin Humza Yousaf has been elected as the new leader of the Scottish National party. At 37, Humza becomes the first Muslim to lead a Western European country.
- Government of Israel stalls disputed judiciary bill amid protests:
PM Benjamin Netanyahu, on Monday, put off a decision on a conflicted argument for a judicial bill pass until further notice amid raging mass protests. As per the statement, the legislation has been delayed until the next session of the Israeli parliament in order to pass the reform through dialogue.

The first Trade and Investment Working Group (TIWG) under India’s G20 Presidency is being held from March 28 to 30 in Mumbai. Over 100 delegates are expected to attend the 3-day event in the city.
