• Malviya Mission of UGC Launched By Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan: Union Minister of Education Ministry, Dharmendra Pradhan Launched the ‘Malviya Mission’ by UGC to technically enhance the teachers. This program was launched on the occasion of Teacher’s Day

• Summer of 2023 Was the Hottest Season in History: As per the Meteorologists in the United Nations, The summer season of the Northern Hemisphere was considered to be the hottest ever recorded. The experts also raised concerns for this temperature to increase more in the upcoming years.

• Ukraine Receives New Defence Minister: Ukrainian Parliament has decided to make Ex-Lawmaker Rustem Umerov as its next Defence Minister of the country. He is being appointed amidst heavy offensive strikes by Russia deep into Ukrainian territory.

• Earthquake in Northern Chile: South American Country Chile was shaken off by a 6.2 magnitude earthquake in its northern region on Wednesday. The tremors were felt across several kilometres in the country. Luckily, no injuries or deaths have been reported so far.
