The 15th Mercer CFA Institute Global Pension Index 2023 is out and India has been ranked 45th out of a total 47 countries included in this ranking:

  • The Netherlands has been ranked first in MCGPI 2023 with an index value of a maximum 85.0. Iceland and Denmarks have been given second and third positions respectively
  • India’s ranking in 2022 was 41st out of 44 countries compared to this year’s ranking
  • The Global Pension Index by Mercer CFA Institute evaluates 47 retirement income system parameters in each country

Israel-Hamas War: US President Joe Biden Ensured Support for Israel

As Joe Biden, President of the United States of America visited Israel amidst war with Hamas-operated Gaza, he assured to help in the safety of every Israeli citizen. The deadly war has cost the lives of more than 1,500 Israeli nationals and more than 2,000 Gaza residents so far.

  • While addressing the joint press conference, Benjamin Netanyahu stated that the attack by Hamas on Israel was equivalent to 9/11 attacks in the USA

  • After the intervention of Biden, Egypt has agreed to open up its border adjoining Gaza to transport medical and humanitarian aid to the affected
