Representatives from Indian Institutes of Technology are in Bangladesh to interact with the students as a part of Indian High Commission’s efforts to provide an opportunity for the Bangladeshi students to pursue engineering in the premier institutes of India.
The delegates interacted with the high school students of Dhaka on September 4 & 5, 2016 . The team will visit Chittagong on September 6 and interact with the students. The primary objective of the team is to give complete awareness regarding the admission process of IITs.

The delegates will also prepare a survey and possibilities for holding JEE and GATE which are planned to be conducted in 2017 in Bangladesh.
The officials visited DPS-STS School in Dhaka and interacted with higher secondary students. Later they visited Dhaka University and University of Engineering and Technology to interact with the final year engineering students.

The delegation will visit Aga Khan School in Uttara and interact with the students on September 6 and September 7, 2016.
The team divided the students into two groups, Group A & B. Students of class 11 and 12 come under Group – A. The team will give awareness to the students regarding JEE exam. The final year engineering students come under Group – B. The delegation will provide a complete idea about GATE 2017 examination to this group.
