Delhi School Holiday on August 2:
The Delhi Government has declared August 1 as Delhi School Holiday due to heavy rain and waterlogging in most areas. Minister of Education, Atishi Marlena Singh, has announced the school holiday for August 1 through social media platforms stating that on account of rain on the evening of July 31 and resulting in waterlogging and IMD predictions of heavy rainfall on August 1, all schools remain closed. Further, as per the IMD predictions, the weather on August 2 is expected to remain the same so the Delhi School holiday on August 2 shall be expected.
