In an attempt to reduce rush hours and provide enough time for the registration process, the Delhi University is planning to start admission process 2017 from May 15. Students will be able to register and apply for various undergraduate programmes offered by the university.
In a recent meeting of Admission Committee (AC), DU officials decided to start the online registration for all undergraduate programmes by mid-May. According to the officials, Delhi University is planning to begin the process prior to the announcement of Class 12 CBSE results i.e. May 24.
DU is currently trying to resolve the minor technical issues in its admission portal, server and software system in order to avoid anomalies while the registration process is going on.
The registration process is expected to continue from May 15 to June 20. The entire admission procedure will continue till July 21, 2017.

DU Admission Committee, headed by Dean of Sciences, Maharaj. K. Pandit is working tirelessly to come up with the final draft of admission policies. Meetings are being held to make sure that the admission process is carried out smoothly.
The date for Post Graduate (PG) admission has not been decided due to the protests led by ABVP against the university’s decision regarding PG and professional UG course entrance exam in computer based mode.

The final draft of the PG admission will be transferred to the Standing Committee that will, in turn, take the decision whether the test will be conducting in online mode or not. An Admission Committee member informed that the date for PG admission will be announced soon.
