JEE Main January 2023 results have been released on the official website. Candidates who are yet to check their results are advised to visit the official website to check their results using the application number and date of birth. Candidates who are not satisfied with the percentile score need not feel disheartened and start with the preparations for the upcoming JEE Main April 2023 session. NTA will consider the best of the two sessions for each candidate to allot ranks. So, there is still hope and scope to improve percentile and ranks. So, here are some tips and strategies that will help the candidates to prepare well for the April 2023 exam.

Preparation Tips and Strategies for JEE Main April 2023

Candidates who aim to improve their JEE Main January 2023 Percentile marginally and rank well in the All India Rankings released by NTA after the April 2023 sessions, here are some helpful tips and strategies:

Identify the flaws of JEE Main January 2023

Knowing one’s flaws and acceptance is always the first step towards starting fresh preparations. Candidates should identify their weaknesses so that they can work on it. One’s weaknesses and strengths are equally important in the preparations of the JEE Main 2023 exams. So, it is advisable for candidates to write down their flaws or weak points.

Work on the Weaknesses and Flaws

After identifying the weak points and flaws in the preparations, candidates shall invest their time to improve them. The topics that were not covered earlier or neglected should be completed thoroughly. Candidates shall invest time in revising their completed syllabus and also to prepare the topics that were not covered previously.

Complete Revision of the Syllabus

After completing the syllabus, candidates are advised to complete at least two sets of revisions for the entire syllabus for the JEE Main April 2023. Since there are approximately 2 months left for the exams, candidates may revise their entire syllabus.

Practise Mock Test

It is a necessity to attempt mock tests. Attempting one of two tests will not be enough. Once the syllabus is completed, candidates shall invest their time to attempt at least one or two mock tests each day to improve speed and accuracy. It will also help candidates to improve their speed or to find tricks that will help them solve problems or questions quickly.

Make changes in the study plan

After following the current study plan for JEE Main January 2023, if candidates are unable to secure good scores, it is best to make some changes in the study plan. If possible, invest more time in the preparations, as after the Class 12 board exams conclude, candidates will be free as there will be no classes.
