32 education channels have now been added to Dish TV one of the leading brands among the direct-to-home service providers. All the 32 channels introduced by Dish TV were launched by the HRD ministry.
All these 32 channels will cover different subjects and aspects of education so that information can be imparted in a distinct visual medium to make it easy to understand.
Space technology will be used by the service provider in order to expand the reach of these channels. All the subscribers will be provided with high-quality educational content that is carefully designed by prominent central universities like IGNOU, Kashmir University, Punjabi University, Jamia Millia Islamia, and other such leading universities.

Apart from this, lectures conducted at the premier institutions such as IITs will also be broadcasted live through this medium.
CEO of Dish TV, Arun Kumar Kapoor said that they will stand by the government and their initiative to impart education through TV sets. He also expressed his enthusiasm and said that it is an achievement that all the Dish TV subscribers will have access to the HRD ministry’s education channels.
Dish TV will now be broadcasting 585 channels and services that is the highest number in the industry. These educational channels are available from the number 2001 to 2032 on Dish TV and Zing.
