DME Tamil Nadu MBBS Rank List Date 2023 : The Selection Committee, Directorate of Medical Education and Research is expected to release the Tamil Nadu MBBS rank list 2023 on or by the last week of July (tentatively) . The rank list will be published separately for management, government, and government school quota.
Once the rank list is out, candidates will be able to access the same at @tnmedicalselection.net. Those candidates whose names will be included in the DME Tamil Nadu MBBS merit list will be eligible to participate in the counselling rounds for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) admission.

DME Tamil Nadu MBBS Rank List 2023: Tie-Breaking Criteria

The DME authorities will formulate the merit list based on the scores achieved by the candidates in NEET 2023 in descending order. In case of a tie, the officials will implement the following tie-breaking criteria to create the rank list:

• Those candidates who get more marks in Biology will get a higher position on the list.

• If the tie persists, the candidates attaining more marks in Chemistry will get the second position.

• If the tie still persists, the candidates with a lesser wrong answer will be given the third rank.
