Govindram Seksaria College of Commerce and Economics, DMSR, GS College, Nagpur organises Management Fervor 2016 - an Intercollegiate Management Competition.
Govindram Seksaria College of Commerce and Economics, Nagpur was established in 1945 by Shiksha Mandal, Wardha to fulfill the requirement of Commerce education in the region during the pre-independence period. It is the first Commerce College in the city of Nagpur and only the second in Nagpur University.

DMSR, G S College of Commerce & Economics, Nagpur conducted Management Fervor – 16, an Intercollegiate Management Competition, in order to inculcate Personality Development Skills and to enhance Employability Quotient amongst students of MBA colleges of Nagpur,as a two-day program packed with various Management related activities like Business Quiz, Extempore, Mock Stock Market and Debate.
Day 1 - Business Quiz Competition
The first day of the event saw an edge of the seat, thrilling, and enthusiasm generating activities like Business quiz and Extempore.
Day 1 – Judge Dr. Pratibha Agrawal and Director DMSR at Extempore Competition
Business quiz focused and stressed on the GK quotient of the students, along with stressing on the presence of mind. Teams from LIT and DBM, Nagpur University were the first & second winners respectively at the Business Quiz. Extempore laid emphasis on Communication Skills, Body language, and Stage Presence with audience connectivity as the areas of evaluation. DBM, Nagpur University, and VNIT won the first prize for extempore.

The second day was a complete replica of the anxiety levels, eagerness and huge adrenaline rush experience that usually is seen during the Sensex market transactions when students participated in the Mock Stock Market.

This activity was planned in order to make students understand the importance of assessment, presence of mind and improving their risk taking ability while focusing on taking key management decisions. A team from PDIMTR, Nagpur, and Team from G S College of Commerce & Economics, Nagpur won the second and first prize respectively.
