All those candidates who have enrolled themselves for technical and professional programme for 2016-17 will now have to submit their documents for verification purposes to the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE). They will have to do so when they appear for the counseling rounds before August 31.

On Tuesday, DTE started the verification process of all those students have enrolled themselves in private and government college courses.
Also, candidates have been warned by DTE to verify their original documents before taking admission in any of the undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
Some of the negligence on part of universities was that many students failed to get the documents verified and also candidates were given the provisional admission of allotted seats by the counseling committee and were asked to verify the documents later.
For all those candidates who have been admitted to the Engineering and other technical courses in college level counseling round, document verification process will start from August 26 and carry on till August 31.
From August 23, DTE students who were admitted after the last round of seat allotment can get their documents verified by visiting the help centers. The verification process will end on August 31.

Between August 26- 30, verification process for candidates who have been admitted under
Institutional Preference Seats (IPS)
will be held.
In case candidates are unable to verify their documents, their admission will be cancelled.
Candidates going through verification process have to visit the help centers along with the following original documents:
- Class X mark sheet,
- XII mark sheet,
- Caste certificate,
- Address proof,
- Identity card,
- Income certificate (if any),
- Migration certificate,
- Transfer certificate

Students will then have to get these documents verified and submit a photocopy of each of these documents for future reference.
