Dos and Don'ts after TS ICET 2021 Seat Allotment

The counselling process of TS ICET 2021 is being conducted in two phases. The first phase began on November 3 and its seat allotment result has been released done on November 14, 2021. The final phase will commence from November 21 and the seat allotment in this phase will be on November 26, 2021.

In the TS ICET 2021 seat allotment process , candidates will be able to exercise web options on the seat allotted to them. Those who confirm the seat allocated to them will have to complete the reporting process which is being conducted in two stages this year - self reporting and physical reporting. In this news, we have provided a list of dos and don'ts that should be followed after the TS ICET 2021 seat allotment process.

Dos After TS ICET 2021 Seat Allotment

Go through the points listed below to know what you must do after the TS ICET 2021 seat allotment.

  • Confirm the college allocated to you if you are satisfied with it and proceed with the admission formalities further.
  • Complete the self-reporting online and download the provisional seat allotment letter. You will not be allowed to complete the physical reporting if you do not carry the allotment letter with you.
  • Before proceeding with the physical reporting, make sure you have all the necessary documents required for the admission process. You have to carry the original and photocopies of all the documents that you uploaded during the counselling registration.
  • You will be required to pay the tuition fee of the first year at the college while reporting physically. The amount will be mentioned on the provisional seat allotment letter.
  • Candidates who are not satisfied with the college allotted to them in the first round of counselling can reject it and wait for the final round. However, they must keep in mind that the seat cannot be retained once they reject it.
  • It is advised that all candidates go through the previous years' closing ranks of TS ICET before rejecting the seat allotted to them. It will give them an idea of their chances of getting a better seat in the final round.
  • Aspirants can also wait for spot admissions in the private unaided colleges which will be conducted on November 28, 2021.

Don'ts After TS ICET 2021 Seat Allotment

The list of things a candidate must not do after the seat allotment of TS ICET 2021 has been given below.

  • Do not wait until the last day to complete self and physical reporting.
  • Do not proceed with physical reporting at the college if you have not completed the self reporting process online.
  • Do not forget to take all the important documents along when you report to the college physically. Any discrepancy can lead to severe consequences.
  • Do not reject the seat allotted to you in the first round before checking the closing ranks of the previous years. The chances of securing admission in the final round of counselling are limited and hence, you must be very careful.
  • Do not pay any additional fee that is not mentioned in the provisional seat allotment letter.
