Principal of Janardan Rai Nagar, Rajasthan Vidhyapeeeth University Dr. Amya Nanda Goswami (homeopathy) got his PHD from Bahrampur Univesity of Orrisa on the topic of ‘Homeopathy Case History on Pediatric Mind’.
He is the first one in Rajasthan to do research in Homeopathy. He completed his thesis under the virtuous guidance of Dr. S. Sanyasi Rao - Principal of Bahrampur Medical College Homeopathy.
As we know that Pediatrics is the branch of medicine that deals with the medical care of infants, children adolescents; the age limit usually ranges from birth up to 18 years of age. This was a great achievement for Dr. Goswami that he completed his P.hd in this type of topic, which is rarely taken as a topic for studies and thesis. Pediatrics is known as a new modern medicine in the society today.
Dr. Goswami added that, “This would be a great new thesis to the modern medicine, and I am happy that I completed my P.hD under the guidance of such a great mentor Dr. S. Sanyasi Rao.” The training of pediatricians varies considerably across the world. Depending on jurisdiction and university, a medical degree course may be either undergraduate-entry or graduate-entry. The former commonly takes five or six years, and has been usual in the commonwealth.
