DTE Maharashtra Merit List 2023: Will separate list be released for MS, AI, and JK candidates?
Yes, a separate merit list be released for MS, AI, and J&K candidates. It is because the boards these candidates are appearing through are different and hence, their percentages would have to be normalized before compiling them in one merit list. DTE Maharashtra directly allocates merit ranks as per the percentages and not normalized percentiles. Furthermore, the seat reservation for MS, AI, and J&K candidates is separate and hence, separate merit lists are released for ease and accuracy of allocations.

DTE Maharashtra Merit List 2023: Which rank will be considered for allotment?
The rank considered for allotment is the respective quota rank through which the candidate is being allotted the seat. For example, State Level Seats will be allotted through State General Merit Rank or State Category Merit Rank (if applicable). Other seats like Home University seats will be allotted through Home University Rank or Home University Category Rank. Other University seats will be allotted through the State Level merit ranks only.

For CAP seats, the extended registrations concluded on July 15, 2023 along with the document verification. However, the registration link is still active at poly2023.dtemaharashtra.gov.in for non-CAP seats and will remain so until August 8, 2023. Any registrations made now will only be considered for non-CAP or management quota allocation.

DTE Maharashtra Merit List 2023: How to raise grievances?
Until last year, the candidates mandatorily had to visit the Facilitation Centre to register their grievances. However, from this year, the link to raise grievances will be provided within the candidate login. Once the grievances link is accessed, the application forms of such candidates will be reverted back to his/her login. The proof documents shall then be uploaded to substantiate the claim for any correction or concession. The status of the raised grievances (acceptance/rejection) will be displayed through the candidate login. Also, those who opt for physical scrutiny shall visit their selected FC to resolve their grievances.

Wherever two or more candidates have scored the same SSC marks (including additional marks, if mentioned on the mark sheet), their ranking will be decided in this order:
- Higher percentage of marks in the subject Mathematics at SSC;
- Higher percentage of marks in the subject Science at SSC;
- Higher percentage of marks in the subject English at SSC;
- Passing HSC Science;
- Passing HSC with Minimum Competency Vocational Course;
- Passing ITI Trade of 2 Years duration;

Based on the performance of the candidates in their Class 10 board examination, their rankings for DTE Maharashtra Polytechnic merit list are decided. The candidates who have appeared for boards other than the Maharashtra Board are admitted under the All-India (AI) category while those from the Maharashtra Board are considered in the Maharashtra State (MS) category. Wherever two or more candidates have the same score, tie-breaking criteria is used to give each student an unique ranking.

DTE Maharashtra Merit List 2023: Physical Scrutiny Mode grievances submission
Outlined below are the steps to submit your grievances for the candidates who have selected Physical Scrutiny mode:
- Candidates who have selected the Physical Scrutiny mode will have to visit their Facilitation Centre online chosen by himself/herself, accompanied by the required documents supporting the correction claim.
- The allotted time slot shall be followed for online filling, scanning and uploading of required documents, verification and validation of the application form.
- After the application form has been verified and confirmed, the FC will issue a receipt/acknowledgement.
- The status of confirmation, as well as reception and acknowledgement, will be displayed in the candidates' login.
