A student belonging to the Delhi Technological University or DTU has bagged a great opportunity by securing a job offer at Uber. The package offered to him is worth USD 1,10,000, that is nearly Rs. 71 lakhs per annum.
The student who landed up with this offer is Siddharth, who is also an alumnus of DPS or Delhi Public School, Vasant Kunj. He secured a percentage of 95.4 in his class 12th board examinations. After school, he appeared for the engineering entrance exam called the JEE or Joint Entrance Examination and is currently a final year student of Computer Sciences at Delhi Technological University .
While sharing his happiness, Siddharth is reported to have said that he is looking forward to grooming his technological skills with the opportunity at one of the best cab service aggregator - Uber. Further, he shared that he wishes to start his own venture in the near future.

Moreover, he also revealed that he would like to travel and explore the world with the money he makes in the job. He explained that he had done internships with Uber several times, and this offer is a part of the PPO or Pre-Placement Offer.
Siddharth is a 22-year old student whose father works in the capacity of a consultant and his mother is involved in the transcription of speeches as a freelancer.

This year, about 1050 offers have already been made to the students of DTU, which was formerly known as the Delhi College of Engineering. The head of the placement committee revealed that more than 200 companies have already visited the college for recruitment purposes and more are in line for the same in the coming months.
In the year 2015, another student of the same institutes - DTU - had bagged the highest offer of Rs. 1.25 crore from California based Google.
