Other programmes receive relatively fewer applications as they have specific requirements apart from the regular 10+2 eligibility criteria, officials stated. For admissions to courses like Commerce and Science, the candidate must have studied the subject at 10+2 levels or else marks are deducted.
However, English (Hons) is open for all as all of the students have studied the subject till secondary education levels.
Officials also informed that a huge number of applications leads to high cut-offs. The cut-offs for various DU programmes depend on the number of seats available and the number of applicants.

The cut-offs cannot be estimated yet as the university is still receiving applications. The last date to register for UG courses offered by DU is June 12, 2017.
