DU Admissions 2017: Check the Process to Fill Online Application Form

Here is a detailed guide to the application process for UG courses at Delhi University that has begun today on May 22, 2017. With an objective to bring awareness among the aspirants, CollegeDekho brings you set by step process for filling the online application form.

Create Login ID: -

• It is mandatory for all the first time users to Sign Up on the official website.
• There is a separate admission portal for DU Admissions 2017.
• Firstly, you need to enter your E-Mail ID.
• Secondly, enter the ‘Password’.
• Thirdly, enter the ‘Mobile Number’.
• Finally, Click on ‘Register’ button.
• Now, you will receive a confirmation link in your e-mail.
• Open the mail, and click on confirmation link.
• Now, your registration is confirmed.

Fill the Online Application Form: -

• As your registration is confirmed, you can proceed to fill the online application.
• Go to ‘Registered User Login’.
• Enter the Username (E-Mail ID) and Password (created during registration).
• Click ‘Login’ button.
• Now, you can see a new page.
• There, you need to click on ‘Apply Now’.

Enter Personal Details: -

• Here you need to fill the details like name, category, gender, date of birth, address and nationality.
• You should also enter your father’s name as well as mother’s name.
• Parent’s occupation, family’s annual income and mobile number are also mandatory.

Complete Academic Details: -

• You need to enter the marks or percentage scored by you in Class X and Class XII (if applicable).
• You need to specify the name of the board also.
• Submit these details.
• Before submitting, cross check once.

Selection of Course: -

• The next step is course selection.
• You can choose the course from the list.
• There is no limit on the number of courses that candidates can apply.
• The candidates need to no pay additional registration fee for additional courses.
• After selection, submit the details.

The candidates who come under Sports and ECA category have to furnish all the relevant details. After entering the details, cross check them and submit.

Uploading of Relevant Documents: -

Payment of Registration Fee: -

• For General/ OBC categories, the registration fee is Rs. 500
• The registration fee for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates is Rs. 250
• You can pay the fee online.
