The third cut-off for Delhi University’s (DU) Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board (NCWEB) will be released soon. Candidates seeking admission to the B.Com and BA courses at NCWEB against the third cutoff will be able to apply after the release. Students will be able to access the registration forms in an online mode through the official website of the University of Delhi . The NCWEB third cutoff for the B.Com course reached as high as 86 per cent at Miranda House and 86 per cent for the BA programme at Hansraj College last year.

Previous Year NCWEB Cutoff Trends
Last year the highest cut-off for Miranda House was set at 86%, whereas, earlier it was 88%. Also, there is a dip of two per cent in the highest cut-off for B.Com and B.A. Programmes as compared to the second cut-off list for NCWEB.
The first cut-off for NCWEB was announced on July 1, 2017. The highest cut-off under the board was recorded for the B.Com programme offered by Hansraj College and Miranda House i.e. 90%.
According to a press release of DU, Admissions on the basis of NCWEB third cut-off will be done between 9.30 am and 1.30 pm from July 13 to July 15, 2017, at the respective teaching centres.
The lowest cut-off under the NCWEB was recorded for ST category students i.e. 33% for both B.Com and B.A. programmes. DU has also announced that women of Delhi NCR region applying for regular colleges are also eligible to apply for NCWEB.
This will be a huge relaxation for women candidates as they will not miss the opportunity to apply for different colleges under NCWEB along with the regular colleges, added the press release of DU.
NCWEB is not a part of the formal education structure of DU. Lectures and programmes under this board are delivered only on weekends. Only those women candidates who are living in Delhi and the National Capital Region can apply for courses offered by the board.
