Delhi University has notified the colleges to consider provisional mark sheets for admissions. As per the reports, the university officials have sent a notification to all the affiliated colleges to the university stating that they can carry out the admission procedure based on the provisional mark sheet of the candidates. But, the candidate will be required to submit the original mark sheet to the respective college within 10 days of securing admission.
Many Delhi University aspirants who were applying for admissions complained that the colleges refused to accept their provisional mark sheets . This is when the varsity decided to notify all the colleges regarding the same in order to ensure the smooth functioning of the admission process.

Shalja, a student from Bihar shared her experience while elaborating on how Hansraj College rejected her application because she produced a provisional mark sheet. Vineet Chawla, father of another applicant in Ramjas College said the students have not received the original mark sheet yet and therefore the principal provided them with an undertaking regarding the same. However, the college did not accept the same and they were denied admission.
On the other hand, Sunil Kumar Singh, Admission-in-Charge at Kirori Mal College said that the admissions have been going on very smoothly in the college. There were certain issues regarding the acceptance of provisional mark sheets. However, the varsity clarified that provisional mark sheets can be accepted as long as it is certified by the school.

Apart from this, DU has released their first cut off list and the admission process is underway. Candidates seeking admission under the first list can complete all the admission formalities by 21st June.
