The highest Cut-offs announced by the Delhi University for the admission into UG courses for the first phase of counselling received a very poor response. The website got crashed due to the heavy rush of students logging into the website. The officials expected that there would be a low rush as the cutoffs were more. But, the students who were not part of fist cut-off list also logged into the website which created a technical glitch. The second cut-offs list is likely to be announced on 4-July-2016.
This year the highest cut-off is Ramjas College where the cut-off for B.Com is 99.25% and for other courses 95%. The cut-off for B.A at some of the colleges in Delhi is 95% .

The first day of the admissions received a poor response. Only 27 students got admitted at Ramjas College . Last year, around 160 students got admitted on the first day of counselling. On the other hand, only 35 students got admitted at Hindu College which was very less than the previous year.
It is clear that most of the candidates are waiting for the second cut-offs list which would speed up the admission process.
