DU Announces Admission Details for Stream Change and Students with MIL

Delhi University second cut-off list was announced recently basis which admissions for the academic sessions 2016 will be done. Aspirants from across the country have applied for the various UG courses offered by the university.

In an official notification, DU informed that deductions have been made in the percentage of students belonging to Commerce/Science stream who want to apply for BA courses on the request made by various colleges affiliated to DU. However, this stream change will also accompany percentage disadvantage for students. Applicants belonging to Arts or Science streams wishing to apply for B.Com programmes for the session 2016 will be at a percentage disadvantage.

Students can check the details with regards to the marks deduction for a change of UG stream on the official website of the university. Only students who want to secure admissions in BA and B.Com courses must refer to the percentage deduction.

Delhi University has also announced that it will give an advantage to students who have studied Modern Indian Languages (MIL) and want to get admission BA and B.Com programmes offered in various colleges of the university for the session 2016. This decision was also taken at the request of various colleges affiliated to DU.

Following are the percentage advantage that will be given to students who have studied MIL and aspire to take admission to BA/B.Com programmes:
