Seat Acceptance Process after DU First Merit List 2022
Here are the important instructions pertaining to the seat acceptance process after DU first merit list 2022 –- Candidates who have been allocated seats as per the first preference will have to ‘Accept’ the seat, and there will be no option of ‘Upgrade’
- If the candidate is allocated multiple seats in the first round, they will have to accept only one seat
- Once the candidates click on ‘Accept’ after checking the seat allotment, the colleges will start the verification process of documents uploaded by the candidates
- Once the documents are verified by the colleges, the candidates will be intimated of the verification status through the candidate login
- If there are discrepancies in the documents uploaded by the candidates, the respective college will intimate the candidates to resolve the discrepancy
- Candidates whose documents are successfully verified by the colleges will have to pay the tuition fee
Upgrade of Seats after DU First Merit List 2022
Candidates who are not satisfied with the seat allotment as per the first merit list of DU will have to opt for an Upgrade. Here are some of the important instructions regarding the ‘Upgrade’ option.- Candidates choosing the ‘Upgrade’ option must note that their allotment will be auto-upgraded as per the seat allotment policy
- Candidates who secured seats as per the first preference will not have an upgrade option
- Candidates choosing the Upgrade option after the first seat allotment must that their existing seat allotment will not be cancelled until a better allotment is made in subsequent rounds
