Delhi University is planning to conduct offline examination for postgraduate language courses. However, the varsity will go ahead with online examination for the rest of the PG courses. The varsity has taken this decision amid severe opposition that is being received from a section of students and faculty.
Ever since the varsity announced online entrance examination for postgraduate courses, it has been receiving opposition from teachers and students. Most of them demanded to rollback the decision.
One of the officials of DU pointed that many students and teachers claimed that conducting online examination might become a disadvantage for the students who hail from backward regions. Students from all the streams many not be acquainted with computers, and conducting online examination will leave a negative impact.

Now, the varsity is planning to conduct written test for language courses such as Sanskrit, Persian and English.
Delhi University will begin the online registration for PG courses from May 31, 2017. The varsity is yet to announce the complete schedule. On the other hand, the online registration for UG courses will begin from May 22, 2017, i.e., Monday. Similarly, registrations for entrance based courses will also begin on May 31, 2017.

Registrar of Delhi University (DU), Mr. Tarun Kumar Das clarified that the registration process for the all the courses is online.
