In a bid to combat the ongoing pandemic, the University of Delhi (DU) has taken the initiative of reaching out to various boards of education, request access to the direct links to the class 12 board exam results. The step had been taken for the purpose of facilitating online document verification without having the need for aspirants to visit the college campuses for physical document verification processes.
The Dean of Admissions at Delhi University, Shobha Bagai revealed that the processes had begun in May 2020. The University had released request letters to the different Education Boards across India for access to the links. She added that two Education Board have shared their links and are expecting the others to share access to the links as well.
Keeping the social distancing norms put in place, sources state three boards have agreed to share the access with the University. The Boards, viz. CBSE, JKBOSE and NIOS have shared their links the university. However, since CBSE is yet to conduct a few more examinations, DU is currently waiting for the final results.

Previously, it had been made mandatory by Delhi University for each department to carry out individual forensic testing of the documents, certificates and mark sheets that had been submitted by aspiring candidates. Keeping this regulation in mind along with the social distancing norms, online verification of documents and mark sheet may just be the way forward.

Admissions to various UG, PG and doctoral programmes have begun at Delhi University for the current academic year. However, delays in the release of various board exam results, along with the pandemic, admissions have been delayed.
