Delhi University School of Open Learning (DU-SOL) semester exams for various courses are going to commence next week. M.A. Political Science students were nervous until November 22, 2018, as the varsity failed to upload exam date sheet and hall tickets for semester exams. The date sheet for M.A Political Science semester exams was uploaded on November 22, 2018, just three days before the commencement of exams.
The first exam for third-semester students will take place on November 26, 2018, while the first exam for first semester students will take place on November 30, 2018. As most students were already nervous about the delay in releasing the exam date sheet, the delay in issuing hall tickets caused more nervousness among students. Students have been visiting the official website of DU SOL for updates on hall tickets/ admit cards.

As per the tentative date sheet released by DU SOL on October 26, 2018, the first and third semester exams for M.A. Political Science students were expected to begin in December 2018. However, the varsity did not make any further communication regarding the final dates for semester exams. When students contacted the DU SOL office, students were informed that the exams would begin from November 26, 2018.
Most students were nervous and confused, as they did not have any idea of exam dates and papers scheduled on particular dates. The delay in releasing date sheet will be a bane to outstation students, said by one of the students.

The officials of DU explained that DU’s Examination Branch caused the delay. The exams for M.A Political Science students will be conducted in the Arts Faculty of the varsity, they confirmed.
