Registration process for the 54,000 undergraduate seats offered by the Delhi University will start from May 22. The registration process for admission to various UG programmes offered by DU is starting two weeks ahead of the usual schedule.
Although DU has not clarified the last date to register for admission, the university has mentioned that students will be shortlisted on the basis of cut-offs.
Starting the process early is an attempt to give the students enough time to get their documents and certificates ready, informed M Pandit, Member of Admission Committee of DU.
DU will conduct an entrance exam for some programmes including Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA in financial investment analysis) and BA (Hons) Business Economics.
Registration process for these courses will begin from May 31. According to an official, entrance exam will be conducted for around 1600 seats in undergraduate courses.

Online registration for postgraduate and research programmes including M.Phil and Ph.D. will start from May 31. Tarun Das, DU Registrar, informed that registration process for all courses and categories of students will be done online.
Students applying for Sports quota seats, Kashmiri Migrants seats, Extra Curricular Activities (ECA), CW (Defence), and PwD categories will have to register online through the official website of DU.
Other details regarding admissions and information bulletin will soon be uploaded on the official website of the university, Das added. It was also announced that the final admission criteria for different programmes will be finalised by a standing committee meeting on May 16.

DU has not yet clarified whether entrance test for postgraduate and research courses will be conducted in online mode or paper-pencil mode. Students of the university and those aspiring to get enrolled at DU want the university to conduct these entrance exams in offline mode.
