Learning to speak English was always your dream? Here is a good news, English and Foreign Languages University - EFLU has come up with a mobile app for English language learners.
The mobile app will have content about Spoken English and English Pronunciation. Through this mobile app, enthusiasts can improve their pronunciation and oral communication skills. Prof E Suresh Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, EFLU informed that the app will be launched during the Diamond Jubilee celebrations.
The Spoken English mobile app of EFLU will be a great help to the students. Nowadays, many students fail in job interviews due to the lack of English communication skills. Students can make use of this app to improve their communication skills in English.

Apart from this, the university is also planning to launch open education resources. It has developed a 30-hour proficiency course material in oral communication in various languages such as Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Russian, German, Korean, Persian, Chinese, French, Japanese Spanish, Italian and Arabic. These proficiency courses will be available at free of cost and will help candidates learn the basics of these languages.
Meanwhile, the university has launched a Meet a Leading Light initiative. Under this initiative, a group of students were selected who had a chance to interact with many eminent personalities.

EFLU is also planning to set up four new Centre for English Language Training in Sudan, Toga, Mauritania, and Djibouti. EFLU already has centres in countries such as Sri Lanka, Vietnam Myanmar and others for five years.
