The English journal 'Literary Pearls' was released at the Bihar National College on 2nd May 2016.
The Patna University (PU) Pro - VC Mr. Ranjit Kumar Verma, on 2nd May 2016, released the annual research journal of the English language & literature, which had been christened as 'Literary Pearls', at the function held at B N College in Patna.
Bihar National College is also known as the B.N College - Patna, had been established in the year 1889 by the 2 very avid academics & nationalists Babu Bishewar Singh & Shaligram Singh of the Kulharia Raj, Bhojpur of Bihar.
The college has been substantial for the Patna University, and the educational scenario in Bihar in the late 20th century. The English journal has been introduced amongst the students in order to make the students more aware of the importance of the language. It is mention worthy that the state of the English education at the state level in Bihar has not been very encouraging, and thus this step for making the students more aware of the language and its importance is expected to prove critical in shaping up the minds of the students at the UG and the PG level.
