Essex Business School, University of Essex has come up with Essex-MBA Scholarships for potential Indian Entrepreneurs. The B-School will offer one full paid scholarship to an Indian aspirant.
To increase the entrepreneurial ecosystem in India Essex Business School, University of Essex has come up with Essex-MBA Scholarships. The Essex- MBA Scholarship will be offered to Indian professionals who are aspiring to become entrepreneurs. The varsity will offer a total of 19 scholarships which will be offered to entrepreneurial scholars from across the world. However, the one-full paid scholarship will be offered to an Indian potential entrepreneur.
The selection of the Indian candidate for the scholarship will be done during the Shark Tank. Shark Tank was a business event which was conducted by the University of Bangalore.
The event provided budding Indian entrepreneurs with a platform to pitch their business ideas in front of the experts. The experts assisted the students and mentored them about the creative skills, analytical skills and to communicate their ideas in the right way.
Essex MBA Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Essex MBA Scholarship, the candidates must clear the International English Language System (IELTS) with an overall score of 6.5 bands.

Nicolas Forsans, Director of Essex Business School who also one of the panel members of Shark Tank informed that he was impressed with ideas of the Indian entrepreneurs. According to him, they have a strong mindset and have in-depth knowledge of digital knowledge. Most of the business models in the coming days will be powered by digital technology and Indian entrepreneurs will be able to keep up with the pace. He further added that the varsity gets students from across the globe, but the entrepreneurial ideas of Indian students are way more creative.
