To promote educational initiatives between the European Union and India and encourage more students to study in Europe, the Delegation of the European Union to India is organising a series of webinars to provide a virtual dialogue platform between European higher education institutions (HEIs) and Indian/South Asian students.
Today, Europe has approximately 4000 higher education institutes, with about one-fifth of the world’s students studying there (roughly 20 million) and about 1.5 million academicians teaching there. This is solely due to the fact that Europe boasts of providing cutting edge education, value for money and rich cultural experience to students from the globe alike. Out of the 20 million students immigrating to Europe to study, approximately 50,000 are Indian students. The fair is being organised to provide Indian students a platform to explore the educational, scholarship and career opportunities available in Europe.
The EHEVF 2016 has a website that lists more than 180 institutes in Europe, that broadcasts two series of webinars in July & September 2016 by institutes for the benefit of Indian students.
