“ADIOS”, the farewell ceremony for the B.Tech 4th Year batch (2012-2016), was successfully organized by the 3rd year students on 23rd April, 2016 at SMS Lucknow campus.
The farewell was graced by Mr. Sharad Singh, CEO SMS Lucknow and both the Director Dr. M. Mehrotra and Dr B. R. Singh, along with Dean IET Dr. Dharmendra Singh, Faculty and Staff members of SMS-IET among others.
On the basis of overall performance, appearance in activities & task round, Mr. Yadav Rakesh (CE) & Ms. Shubhanjali Singh (CS) were adjudged winners for the title of Mr. & Ms Farewell respectively for their quick wit and amiable presentation. Students had great fun dancing merrily on the dance floor afterwards till the end of the day. The final year students were given mementos and interesting titles.
Towards the end of the evening, both the Director in their speech, conveyed best wishes to the 4th year students for the beginning of new phase in their life, motivating and cheering them all to excel in all walks of their pursuits. They also congratulated all the 3rd year students for putting up an excellent effort and making ‘ADIOS’ an event to remember.
At the end, Final year students profusely thanked SMS for fulfilling all the expectations that they had from this institution. A large number of faculty and non-teaching staff were joined in the fun on the day.
