The much-awaited 40th edition of Kolkata Book Fair will take place from January 27 till February 7. The fair will have Bolivia as the focal theme country.
A mobile app is available for visitors to locate their favourites among the 600 stalls.
Book lovers visiting the upcoming International Kolkata Book Fair can catch a glimpse of the 39-year-long journey of the fair this year.
At the 40th edition of the book fair, installations depicting its “historic achievements” will be set up.
“The heritage walk will be held at the fair ground and is aimed at drawing the youth to the fair,” said Sudhangshu Dey, Director of Publishers & Booksellers Guild. He said installations depicting the founding of the guild at the Coffee House of Kolkata would be on display.
