Events Update - Patna University Seminar on Women Empowerment on 27th February

Patna University conducted a seminar on the topic ‘Women Empowerment – Challenges and Possibilities’ at Darbhanga House recently.

Darbhanga House is one of the oldest units of Patna University and primarily hosts the post-graduate courses of the university.

The seminar was conducted under the aegis of Political Science Department, Patna University and in association with ‘Women Development Centre, Patna’. The seminar focused on Women empowerment and its various aspects. The lamp lighting and inauguration were done by some senior faculty members apart from a recently retired Economics professor of Patna College and former dean, 'Students' Welfare - Patna University', Mrs. Jyanti Sircar.

The seminar was attended by the post-graduate students of Darbhanga House – Patna University and students of Patna College - Patna University apart from students from other colleges of Patna University.
