Is 35 a Good Percentile in JEE Main 2024?
The score obtained at 35 percentile is not at all considered favorable in JEE Main for General, OBC, and EWS candidates. With such a percentile, candidates will not qualify for the counselling process and will not be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced examination. Only the range from 90 to 95 percentile is considered to secure a top spot in NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs. Candidates belonging to SC and ST categories as well are unlikely to qualify JEE Main examination.
Candidates who have secured 35 percentile in JEE Main session 1 are advised to appear for the April session again and shall focus on improving their score. If the candidate obtains more than 35 percentile in subsequent sessions, then the better score will be considered for admission. Remember, consistent practice and dedicated effort are essential factors required to achieve a better score in the April session.
