First Batch of IIMB & Toulouse Business School Joint Aerospace MBA Graduate in France

  • 44 Indian students joined their fellow partners of the part-time and full-time Aerospace MBA taught in Toulouse for the graduation ceremony.
First Batch of IIMB & Toulouse Business School Joint Aerospace MBA Graduate in France

The first batch of 44 students of the GMAE (General Management Programme for Aerospace and Aviation Executives), a partnership programme offered by Toulouse Business School (TBS) and Indian Institute of Management (Bangalore) graduated on September 29, 2017, at TBS (France). The graduating students joined their fellow partners of the full-time and part-time Aerospace MBA taught in TBS for the graduation ceremony.

The graduation ceremony that took place at the main campus of TBS France brought together over 75 students from countries like India, Albania, Belgium, Sweden, Russia, Turkey, Australia, Switzerland, Hungary, Portugal, China, Mexico, Italy, France, Peru, United Kingdom, Nigeria, UAE etc.

Representatives from Aerospace industry, IIM Bangalore and TBS were also present at the ceremony.

The major highlight of the course is that IIM Bangalore will award the participants GMAE certificate after the successful completion of the first year. After the completion of the second year, the participants of GMAE course will be awarded certificate by TBS.

GMAE course offered by IIM Bangalore and TBS is a unique combination of technical and managerial expertise also represents a step forward in the understanding of Indian and European markets. The pedagogical aspect of GMAE course is associated with Airbus, as an actor in constant development in India.

Director of Aerospace MBA course at TBS, Professor Christophe Benaroya expressed that the contribution and partnership with India and the completion of the first batch was indeed a great achievement.

During the graduation ceremony, R. Thirunavukkarasu has been awarded ‘Research Paper Award’ for his paper on ‘Assessing the Potential of the Internet of Things (IoT) in Aerospace.
