FMGE December 2023 Application Form DelayedFMGE December 2023 Application Form Delayed: The National Medical Commission (NMC) has delayed the application process for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE). According to the schedule, the conducting body was supposed to release the FMGE December 2023 Application Form on October 16, 2023. However, the registration form for the December 2023 session has been delayed leading to uncertainty for aspiring candidates. The last date to apply for the screening test was October 25, 2023. According to the reports, the delay is due to technical reasons, and the NBE is yet to announce the revised application dates for FMGE December 2023 at the official web portal i.e., natboard.edu.in.
Eligible aspirants must fill out the FMGE December 2023 application form by entering the correct personal, and educational details. After successful registration, applicants must upload images per the guidelines and pay the non-refundable registration fee of Rs 7,080/- through net banking, debit card, and credit card. The FMGE December 2023 exam will be conducted in computer-based test mode in December. Aspirants are advised to keep an eye on the official portal for any updates regarding the registration form. The delay has caused inconvenience among medical graduates who are eagerly waiting to apply for the FMGE December 2023 exam.

NBC states that "An Indian citizen/Overseas citizen of India with a primary medical qualification from a medical institution outside India must pass a screening test to get provisional or permanent registration with Medical Council of India or any State Medical Council after March 15, 2002." FMGE is an examination conducted twice a year for medical graduates who aspire to study medicine outside India. It is a screening test for the graduates to become eligible for medical registration in India.
