IIM Calcutta has been ranked among the top 85 institutes globally and the top three business schools from India in the customised executive education category as per the Financial Times Executive Education Ranking in 2020. The Financial Times recently released its Executive Education Ranking in 2020 for customised and open programmes.
IIM Calcutta said in an official statement that the ranking gives validation to the institute’s premier position in the field of executive education in India, especially in the customised category which includes closed-enrolment programmes for specific corporate and government organisations.
Last year in the Financial Times Masters in Management Ranking 2019, IIM Calcutta was featured as the top-ranked school from India (2nd in Asia and 17th globally) for its two-year flagship MBA course.

Professor Anju Seth, IIM Calcutta’s Director said that the institute is delighted by the recognition given by the Financial Times for the quality of the customised executive education programmes. IIM Calcutta has decades of experience when it comes to designing and delivering customised classroom programmes to select corporate organisations.
Also, IIM Calcutta has played a prominent role in delivering customised programmes available through the online mode ranging from pure classroom courses through blended delivery programmes (which include a mix of online delivery and classroom) to pure online courses.
The B-school is also looking at offering new courses via synchronous mode to further expand its efforts towards making learning accessible for people across the globe.
