According to the Financial Times World MBA Rankings 2022, three IIMs i.e, IIM Bangalore , IIM Ahmedabad , and IIM Calcutta have been successful in securing 53, 62, and 68 positions respectively. Indian School of Business (ISB Hyderabad) has ranked 32 and emerged as the top B-School in India whereas, all the three IIMs have featured as the top 70 best MBA colleges in the world. The rankings have been given based on the surveys conducted by the B-Schools and their alumni and reflect the world’s best 100 full-time global B-Schools. The programs are evaluated based on the B-school’s idea generation, the career progression of alumni, and the diversity of faculty and students.

In the World MBA rankings, Wharton and Columbia secured first and second positions followed by Harvard Northwestern, Kellogg, Stanford Chicago, Booth, Yale, MIT, and NYU. Stern and Berkeley Haas were among 16 schools in the top tier of the 100 ranked institutions. The Deputy Dean of Academic Program, Professor Ramabhadran Thirumalai, stated that the growth and progress of IDB students have always been remarkable and have started a new revolution in terms of growth. He added that ISB has been ranked at the top position globally by the Financial Times, proposing a fulfilling and rewarding career path for our students.

For this year’s ranking, the Alumni batch of PGP class 2018 was surveyed, and ISB Hyderabad gained top position in terms of “Increased Salary Percentage” globally. ISB’s efforts in bringing gender diversity were reflected in the survey, as 38% of female alumni participated which is the highest, compared to other schools ranked under Financial Times 2022.
