The final round of First Year Junior College (FYJC) Admissions 2017 has begun on August 4, 2017. Seats in popular colleges have been filled already with only a few seats available in some colleges. However, the cutoffs for vacant seats is high and students are facing a hard time to secure admission in various colleges. Students who did not secure seat in any of the colleges under previous cut-off lists are nervous as this is the last round/ final chance for securing admission.

According to sources, around 30,000 students are expected to fill the forms for the 41,086 seats available for the fourth round. Once the ATKT results are out, a special round of admissions will be conducted.
However, students were of the opinion that there has not been much change in the cutoffs of various colleges. For instance, few colleges have even increased the cut-off mark after Round 2. Now, there is a heavy competition for Round 4 for which students are hoping for lower cut-off marks. The cut-offs might witness a slight dip in the fourth round.

Few students who secured a seat in the earlier rounds did not confirm the admissions hoping to get a better college. According to experts, students must not make any changes in this regard. The chances of getting admission in Round 4 will be minimal due to tough competition.
So far, around 30 colleges clarified that there are no vacant seats available.
