The results of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2017 have been released by Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee on March 26, 2017. Initially, the results of GATE 2017 were expected to be released on March 27, 2017. The candidates can check GATE 2017 results from the official website. The scores of GATE 2017 are not only useful to seek admission to M.Tech course but also to secure job opportunities in Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs).
This year, around 9.23 lakh students took the examination.
It is important to note that IIT Roorkee has not released the score card of GATE 2017 yet. It is expected to be out soon. GATE 2017 score will be valid for three years.

How to Check GATE 2017 Results?
- The candidates have the facility to check GATE 2017 results only through the official website of GATE.
- The candidates need to keep their Enrollment ID and Password ready before checking results.
- On the official website of GATE, click on GATE 2017 results link.
- Enter the Enrollment ID and Password.
- GATE 2017 result will be displayed.
- Currently, the qualified candidates do not have the facility to download the scorecard.
- The GATE 2017 scorecard will be updated on the official website soon.

On the other hand, IIT Roorkee indicated that the qualified candidates could download the scorecard until May 5, 2017.
