GATE Civil Engineering Question Paper 2024: IISc Bangalore conducts the GATE Civil Engineering 2024 exam today, February 3, 2024, in two shifts due to the high number of registrations. GATE CE 1 and CE 2 exams will be held from 9.30 AM to 12.30 PM and 2.30 PM to 5.30 PM. Once each shift concludes, GATE CE shift 1 and shift 2 memory-based question papers will be added here.
Once the exam is over, the Collegedekho team will connect with the test takers and collect the memory-based questions. Also, the candidates can submit GATE CE 1 questions via the Google link added here; where no personal details are required to submit the questions. In GATE Civil Engineering (CE) 2024 paper, the candidates will have 100 marks of questions to answer. Among them, 15 marks for General Aptitude and the rest 85 marks for the civil engineering subject.

GATE 2024 Civil Subject-Specific Questions
Here, the candidates will have to answer 25 questions of 1 mark and 30 questions of 2 marks. The overall weightage of this section is 85 marks.
Shift 1

- The design speed of a vehicle on a highway is 60 kmph moving on a road with downward gradient 2%. reaction time of driver is 2.5 sec. Brake efficiency 0.7. The coefficient of longitudinal friction is 0.6. The stopping sight distance in (m) is (Answer 77 meters )
- Free flow speed on a highway is 60 kmph, space headway at jam condition is 6m for linear speed density condition the maximum flow is veh/hr. ( Answer 2500)
