GATE 2024: List of 2nd Paper Combination for Aerospace Engineering (AE)

GATE 2024: The Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru is the conducting authority for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). It is a significant national-level examination conducted for engineering graduates across various disciplines for admission into M.E/M.Tech for the academic year 2024-25. In 2023, the paper pattern for GATE was updated and GATE two paper combination was introduced. Under this, applicants can register for an additional paper in combination with their primary subject choice. The Primary Paper is related to the specific engineering branch in which candidates completed their graduation while the Second Paper is related to engineering branches that candidates can choose as their secondary area of focus. Every primary paper has a specific 2nd paper combination of GATE 2024 exam and the same goes for Aerospace Engineering (AE). IISc Bangalore has listed three subjects that can be applied for if the primary paper choice is Aerospace Engineering (AE). • Test papers will be conducted in the English language only.
• Candidates choosing to opt for GATE 2024 two-paper combination must have a primary choice of subject.
• The second test paper can only be selected from the combinations provided by IISc Bangalore. Other than that, no combinations will be considered.
• Additional two-paper combinations might be introduced later, subject to the availability of infrastructure to conduct the exam and the feasibility for scheduling.
• The examination centre for the second test paper may differ due to logistical constraints but it will be within the same city.
• If needed, certain combinations could be removed from the list later, and in such cases, the fee paid for the second test paper will be refunded to candidates.
