GATE 2024: List of 2nd Paper Combination for Computer Science (CS)GATE 2024: The Indian Institute of Sciences, Bangalore is releasing the application form for the Graduate Engineering Aptitude Test (GATE) 2024 on August 24, 2023. The examination has a total of 28 primary papers to choose from, which can be combined with the second paper, if required by the candidate. It is not necessary to take the second paper, however. If the candidate chooses to opt for GATE Paper 2, then he/she must select the Paper 2 subjects alone from the available combinations. These combinations are determined by the candidate's choice of Primary Paper 1. The list of disciplines that can be chosen as the Secondary paper for Computer Science (CS) as the Primary paper is detailed below, along with their subject codes.
It is crucial to remember that any combinations outside of the list provided are prohibited. However, certain combinations may be left from the presented list under unusual circumstances. If this happens, the applicants will receive a refund for the second paper's examination price. Though they will all be in the same location, it is vital to bear in mind that there can be differences in the exam centres for the second paper. Due to logistical and schedule restrictions, which guarantee the efficient administration of the exam, this accommodation is necessary. - For papers with several sessions, one session will be given to each applicant.
- Candidates must be aware of the exact paper code for the test they wish to apply for and sit for.
- Candidates should be aware of their paper codes during both the application and test phases.
- An applicant should only submit one application form, regardless of how many exams they want to take.
- Only one application from a candidate will be taken into consideration if they submit more than that. The amount paid will not be returned if any subsequent applications are denied.
