The qualifying marks for the general category candidates in GATE civil engineering examination for years 2023 and 2022 were 26.6 marks and 30.4 marks respectively. Based on the difficulty level of the paper seen this year, GATE 2024 CE cutoff is expected to be between 27 to 28 marks in terms of raw marks, and for the scaled scores, it is likely to vary between 349 to 351 (out of 1000) for the general category. Candidates must note that qualification marks will not be used for admissions but will only be used to define eligibility for counselling.
